The Tricar Group Celebrates First Move-Ins at The Grove Masonville

August 4, 2026

London’s Newest Purpose-Built Rental Building Welcomes Its First Residents.

The Tricar Group was proud to celebrate the first resident move-ins and official ribbon cutting at The Grove Masonville, located at 230 North Centre Road, London’s newest premier purpose-built rental building. Dignitaries, first residents and guests joined Mayor Josh Morgan and Tricar President Adam Carapella in marking this important milestone for North London.

Since launching in mid-June with a grand opening weekend that drew over 700 Londoners through the doors, Tricar has been preparing for this day to welcome the first residents home. Guests touring the building enjoyed a look at the lobby, amenities and six model suites, along with the on-site leasing centre, while enjoying refreshments from Nova Era Bakery & Café.

“We first built The Chantry in Masonville in 2001 (300 North Centre Road) and we’re very proud to help to continue to grow this thriving community and bring new housing to London. It’s always an exciting day when Tricar is able to welcome the first residents at one of our communities and we are honoured that Mayor Morgan and so many community leaders are here to help celebrate it.”

Mayor Josh Morgan recognized Tricar’s long-term commitment to London and its continued investment in the city’s growth.

“Tricar is a company that continues to build each and every day, regardless of market conditions,” said Mayor Morgan. “They have consistently demonstrated confidence in London by investing in our community, creating high-quality developments, and delivering the kind of purpose-built rental housing that our city needs. Their projects not only provide much-needed homes for residents but also contribute to building complete, vibrant neighbourhoods.”

Mayor Morgan also pointed to the site itself as a natural fit for the development.

“As a designated transit node, this is exactly the kind of location where we want to see thoughtful, higher-density housing,” he said. “Residents will have excellent access to public transit, services and amenities, helping us build a more connected and sustainable city. They produce an exceptional product, and this development will be a fantastic place for people to call home while supporting the continued growth and evolution of this part of London.”

Hear from the First Residents

First residents were equally excited to celebrate the milestone and shared why they chose to call The Grove Masonville home.

“We have always heard good things about Tricar, so when we saw them building in such a beautiful spot, we knew we wanted it to become our cozy home!” said Brenda M.

“Living two and a half blocks away from The Grove Masonville, I saw when the first shovel went in the ground almost two years ago,” said Jack and Terry M. “I researched Tricar and everything indicated how good the company was. We wanted to plan downsizing and also wanted to stay in the neighbourhood we’ve lived in for 34 and a half years — The Grove Masonville is the perfect fit.”

“My primary reason for choosing The Grove is its location,” said Gina M. “By living here, I will have everything – grocery store, pharmacy, bank, library, gym and even a donut shop (!) – within an easy 10-minute walk. My beautiful new apartment has been well designed and finished to a very high standard with lots of light and ample storage. I look forward to enjoying a coffee with my fellow residents in the lounge and then perhaps an evening drink on the rooftop patio as we watch the sun go down. I can’t wait to move in…”
